Job Title: Operational Excellence Manager - Europe

GENERAL SUMMARY:
For our European Supply Chain Organisation we are looking for an Operational Excellence Manager -
EU who will be responsible for developing and executing improvement initiatives across europe. As the
OE manager, you will be responsible facilitating Lean management and implementing related projects
among other topics. The goal is to make operational excellence a core strength of Henry Schein Europe
Supply Chain.
The role is Europe-wide, so we are looking for candidates across Europe.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Establish and maintain a HS EU SC-wide culture of continuous improvement and Operations
Excellence including Site Leadership level policy deployment and tiered interactions.
2. Manage Operational Excellence programs and efforts at the site for short and long term goals
achievement assuring culture and systems development in support of continuous improvement in
cost and quality performance and assure resources are leveraged for HS EMEA SC departments
continuous improvement activities
3. Ensure OpEx fully supports HS EMEA SCM efforts site-wide assuring achievement of HS EMEA SC
goals and continuous improvement driving "best practice" and standardization results
4. Manage Operational Excellence training programs and events throughout the HS EMEA SC
departments assuring training and events support site goals for continuous improvement
5. Lead site-wide cost reduction program targeted at reducing operational costs by 3-5% yearly
6. Responsible for identifying regulatory risks and define appropriate controls to ensure compliance;
this include adaptations to new laws and regulations especially GDPR and other internal/external
regulatory requirements
7. Develop and implement strategies for SCM-Organizations of the future ("digital use cases, etc.)
